McKnight’s musical career began with a musical childhood, in which he was a member of a Seventh-day Adventist Church choir and a band leader in high school at Sweet Home High School in Amherst, New York. Encouraged by his older brother Claude’s band, Take 6, getting a record deal, McKnight sent out demo tapes and, at the age of 19, signed his first recording deal with Mercury Records subsidiary Wing Records. However, He ended up recording his albums for Mercury, released his first album, Brian McKnight, in 1992. He went on to release three more albums for Mercury records before moving to Motown Records. His final album with Mercury Records, Anytime sold over two million copies and was nominated for a Grammy.

Backyardigans Tickets in Seattle

The only reason I know about the Backyardigans is because I have a child who loves the show. They are coming to the Paramount theater for a show time. Get your tickets fast because I know a lot of other kids well want to go too. Here is some info from wikipedia:

The Backyardigans children’s TV series, created by Janice Burgess. It is a joint production of Nick Jr. and the Canadian animation studio Nelvana. Debuting on November 22, 2004, it originally had 20 episodes. It aired on CBS from October 2004 until September 2006. Music for the show is written by Evan Lurie, of The Lounge Lizards, and Douglas Wieselman. The characters were designed by children’s book author and illustrator Dan Yaccarino.

On April 30, 2006, Nelvana and Nickelodeon jointly announced that twenty new episodes were ordered for the upcoming fall schedule. In the UK, the second season debuted on 30 October, 2006. The third season was released in Canada in March 2008, and the series made its Australian debut in the same year.

Carlos Mencia Tickets in Seattle

Ned Arnel Mencía was born the seventeenth of eighteen children in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. At the time of his birth, his Mexican mother, Magdelena Mencía, was engaged in a domestic dispute with his Honduran father, Roberto Holness, and declined to give her son his biological father’s last name. The name appearing on his birth certificate is “Ned Arnel Mencía”, although Mencia has said that out of respect for his biological father he went by the Holness name anyway, and was known as Ned Holness until he was 18 years old.

Mencia was raised in East Los Angeles, California by his aunt Consuelo and uncle Pablo Mencia. By his own admission, staying out of trouble was difficult while growing up, but with the help of his family he excelled in school and stayed out of gangs. He majored in electrical engineering at California State University, Los Angeles, but left early to pursue a career in comedy after a successful performance at an open mic night at The Laugh Factory. He also has an older brother named Joseph Mencia who often appears on Mind of Mencia.

Mencia currently lives with his wife, Amy, in the Los Angeles area in California. They have one child, Lucas Pablo Mencia, who was born on December 14, 2006

Pat Benatar Tickets in Seattle

Known for her strong voice, Pat Benatar grew very popular in the 80’s. She is coming to Seattle to sing at the Emerald Queen Casino for one night. Get your tickets fast. Here is some info from wikipedia:

* The original bass guitarist was Roger Capps, replaced on Tropico by Donnie Nossov, and then later by Frank Linx.

A few years ago I came across Luis Miguel’s music and have been a fan since. I don’t understand most of the things he says because I hardly know Espanol, but he is a good singer. He is coming for one night to the WaMu theater in Seattle. Here is some info from wikipedia:

The Raconteurs Tickets in Seattle

The Raconteurs are coming to see you. OK, may they are not but they will be close by. They are playing at the WaMu Theater here in Seattle. Here is some info from wikipedia:

The Raconteurs released their second album, Consolers of the Lonely on March 25, 2008. The first single, “Salute Your Solution”, was released the same day. The album was announced only a week before its release date, purposely leaving no time for critics to review it before it was available for purchase.

The band has also announced tour dates including: Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 25, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 4, Bonnaroo Music Festival on June 13, Oxegen festival in Ireland on July 13, Open’er Festival in Poland, and the Leeds and Reading festivals in England on August 23 and August 24. They are also playing at “The Pyramid Stage” at the Glastonbury Festival 2008 on July 23. The band will also tour the U.S. during summer 2008.

3 Doors Down is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Escatawpa, Mississippi by Brad Arnold (vocals and drums), Matt Roberts (guitar) and Todd Harrell (bass). Oasis Tickets in Seattle

I remember about ten years ago when people were saying Oasis my be the next Beatles. I don’t think that paned out for them. That doesn’t mean they are not good. They are coming to the WaMu theater here in Seattle. Here is some info from wikipedia:

The group was formed by Liam Gallagher (lead vocals), Paul Arthurs (guitar), Paul McGuigan (bass) and Tony McCarroll (drums), who were soon joined by Liam’s older brother Noel Gallagher (lead guitar, vocals).
